M.I. HUMMEL FIGURINE "Birthday Cake, Candleholder" Hummel #338 Trademark 6 (1979 - 1991)
DESCRIPTION: "Birthday Cake, Candleholder" measures approximately 3-1/2 inches high. The M. I. Hummel signature is on the top of the base and mold number 338 is incised underneath. It has an incised 1956 copyright date along with the trademark and is signed by the artist along with "88", the year it was hand painted (1988).
CONDITION: She is in EXCELLENT Mint condition in original box with no repairs, chips, cracks or crazing. The colors are very vivid and full throughout. (box shows some wear)
STATUS: "Birthday Cake" was first introduced in 1989 and temporarily withdrawn in 1999.
