DESCRIPTION: "Supreme Protection" measures approximately 9 1/2 inches high. The M. I. Hummel signature is on the back and mold number 364 is underneath as well as 1964, the copyright date. The artists initials are underneath the base as well as the number 83, indicating it was painted in 1983. The inscription on the bottom of the figurine applied by blue decal reads: " 1909 - 1984 IN CELEBRATION OF THE 75th ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH OF SISTER M.J. HUMMEL" (Rather than M.I. Hummel). She comes with original box.

CONDITION: She is in EXCELLENT like New condition with original papers and box. The card included is spotted from ageing.There are no chips, repairs, or cracks. She will certainly be an adored piece in any display cabinet.

STATUS: "Supreme Protection" was first put on the market in 1984 and was limited to that year's production and will not be produced in future years. Closed Edition, will not be produced again.

Early production of this figurine had an error in the decal that read "M.J. Hummel" rather than "M.I. Hummel." This was first corrected by cutting off the hook of the "J" and was later corrected to read "M.I. Hummel."
