DESCRIPTION: " COFFEE BREAK" measures approximately 4 inches high. The M. I. Hummel signature is on the top of the base and mold number 409 is incised underneath. It has an incised 1976 copyright date on the bottom of the base and is initialed by the artist. He also bears the inscription "EXCLUSIVE SPECIAL EDITION No. 8 FOR MEMBERS OF THE GOEBEL COLLECTORS' CLUB" applied by blue decal.

CONDITION: He is in EXCELLENT MINT condition with no repairs, chips, cracks or crazing. The colors are very vivid and full throughout . This great Hummel piece will make a marvelous addition to a display cabinet. Box included.

Robert L. Miller's 10th Edition Price Guide Value: $300- $325

The earliest this piece was produced was an early sample in a trademark 5, which is valued in Robert Miller's 9th Edition Price Guide at $3000 - $4000, so realistically this is the only trademark one can be expected to attain of this hummel.

STATUS: This figurine was first introduced in 1984 for members of the Goebel Collector's Club only and not sold as an open edition.
