DESCRIPTION: "Birthday Candle, Candleholder" measures approximately 5 1/2 inches high. The M. I. Hummel signature is on the top of the base and mold number 440 is incised underneath. It has an incised 1983 copyright date along with the trademark and is signed by the artist along with "86", the year it was painted. It also bears the inscription "EXCLUSIVE SPECIAL EDITION No.10 FOR MEMBERS OF THE GOEBEL COLLECTORS' CLUB" applied by blue decal, also a circular "CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF THE GOEBEL COLLECTORS' CLUB."

CONDITION: She is in EXCELLENT MINT condition with no repairs, chips, cracks or crazing. The colors are very vivid and full throughout. This great piece will make a marvelous addition to a display cabinet. She comes with original box.

STATUS: "Birthday Candle" was first introduced in 1986 for members of the Goebel Collectors' Club only and not sold in open edition.
