- Full Bee Hummels The term "Full Bee" refers to the second trademark used by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik, the manufacturer of the M.I. Hummel figurine (the first being the "crown"). Used on figurines produced from 1950 to 1957, it features a "bumble bee" flying high with a "V" (Hummel means "bumble bee" in German and the "V" stands for "Verkaufsgesellschaft" or distribution company). Early versions of the trademark were incised, or cut into, the figurine. Later versions were stamped onto the procelain, usually in black or blue. "Full Bee" Hummels are sought after by many collectors for their age, scarcity, and rich colors. A "Full Bee" in perfect condition is truly a treasure and a joy to own!
